A Call for stories: On Bullying.

We need your help. We are looking for stories about bullying. We are collecting essays, poems, songs and art. Your poems. Your songs and art.

Tell us your story of bullying. On being bullied. On being a bully. On being a bystander. On being a hero and stepping up and standing up against bullies.

We are tired of losing young people to suicide because of bullying. And, we want you to help us stop the suicides. And stop the bullying.

We need you to submit: A short story. A song. A poem. A piece of visual art. A video. Any or all.

We invite: People, of all ages, who have been bulled who can talk about their bullying– wherever the bullying happened- at school, in the work place, in relationships. The pain. The bully’s words and actions: who bullied you, who helped you and who didn’t, who knew. We want your story.

People, of all ages, who have lost someone, or almost lost someone, to suicide. Because of bullying.

People, of all ages, who have bullied who can candidly talk about their bullying. What they did, who they bullied. Why they bullied.

People, of all ages, who have witnessed bullying and did nothing. Stood by and watched. Or turned and left.

People, of all ages, who have witnessed bullying and taken a stand. Stood up for the person being bullied. Took on the bully.

This means you. Friends. Teachers. Students. Parents. Siblings. Co-workers. Bosses. Spouses. Partners. Family members. Neighbors. Girlfriends. Boyfriends. All of you.

If your story is retold, your name and your identity is yours to share or yours to remain anonymous. You choose.

Send us your stories and contact us for more information to callforart@youcansitherewithus.com
